Sepang 1000km Endurance (S1K) 2010 – Exit Light, Enter Night

The Sepang 1000km Endurance in its finest moment.

In endurance racing, there is a small window of about 1 hour where the atmosphere changes every seconds. It’s the exact moment that makes endurance racing one of the best spectacle for the spectators and photographers alike.

6.45 PM – 7.30 PM. The transition from day into night. Light into darkness. The magic hour.

Dorothea Lange, an influential American documentary photographer and photojournalist once said, “While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see.”

As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Sit back and enjoy the finest hour of the Sepang 1000km Endurance Race.
