Continuing from Part 1, here’s the 2nd part of some of the teams involved in the Sepang 1000km Endurance Race (S1K) 2010.

Last year’s 3rd place winner team Pentagon J’s Racing was the pole sitter for the race. This team was a collaboration between Malaysia’s Pentagon Enterprise and J’s Racing, one of Japan’s leading Honda tuner specialist.

Their stalwart No.69 Honda Integra DC2 (Junichi Umemoto / Wataru Maeyama / Chris Tan) was leading handsomely in the early part but problems later on dropped them way behind the leaders.

Despite posting the fastest lap time of the race, the DC2 couldn’t recover and only managed to complete 142 laps, resulting in 35th in overall standing.

This is Suzuki Swift of Team AMC – CBT Ignition.my. Spotted wearing the number 82, they were represented by Adian Khalid, Kahidi Kamaruddin and Albakry Salehuddin.

Qualified in 48th position, they made up 30 places during the 8 and half hours race to finish 18th overall. Quite an achievement considering they were up against much more powerful Honda Integras, Civic EKs and Satria GTis.

Team Televas Racing registered 2 cars for the race, the No.16 Integra DC2 (above) aka ‘Ms.Deep C2′ and the No.17 Peugeot 207 (below) aka ‘Ms.Puggy’ (Those alias were given by their crews).

The DC2 had Aaron Liddell, James Mitchell and celebrity Nurulalis ‘Kiki’ Akhbar in the driving seat while team principal Mark Ian Timms were joined by Ramsey Rizal and Zulkiflee Samad in the 207.

The final results – The DC2 was a DNF after distributor failure but all is not lost as the 207 managed to finish in 29th position.
