SUPER GT – Motegi GT 250km Race : Race Result
Satoshi Motoyama and Benoit Treluyer drove a brilliant race to take another victory for the MOTUL AUTECH GT-R, finishing ahead of the S Road MOLA GT-R’s pairing of Masataka Yanagida and Ronnie Quintarelli in the GT500 Class. The DENSO SARD SC430 of Hiroaki Ishiura and Takuto Iguchi took 3rd place.
Despite finishing in 2nd place, it was enough for the S Road MOLA GT-R of Masataka Yanagida and Ronnie Quintarelli to take both the driver’s and team’s title in their debut season. Nissan meanwhile dominated the season with their GT-R, taking 5 out 8 wins in 2011.
In the GT300 Class, the HATSUNEMIKU GOODSMILE BMW driven by Nobuteru Taniguchi and Taku Bamba clinched the Drivers’ and Team titles in style by taking a pole to flag victory ahead of the HANKOOK PORSCHE and the JIMGAINER DIXCEL DUNLOP 458.
