A podium trusted by the LMP2s, who could imagine? Could you foresee when arriving on the Hungarian track that one hour before the finish of the race, two LMP1 (N°4 Team Beechdean Mansell and N°8 Team Siganture Plus) would save the King category’s honour among the ten first classified while the LMP2s would take the lion’s share, trusting the five first places from half the race?


The Le Mans Series heads to Hungary for the very first time so the 1,000Km of Hungaroring is a leap in the dark for most of teams and drivers. The second qualifying session will go down in Le Mans Series history. For the very first time since seven years of existence, an LMP2 hits the jackpot before the LMP1s. An unpredictable feat which will introduces an interesting race today. Five LMP1 cars versus five LMP2 cars, The powerful LMP1s will be very keen to save their “King of Endurance” title. Although the P2s performances can without any doubt mess up the overall classification.


Audi R8 LMS of Audi Race Experience Team Joest, finished 2nd in their debut 12 hour Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race 2010 at the Sepang Internatonal Circuit.

After all the hype surrounding many of their rivals, it is Arrows Racing who emerged as the best teams with the best drivers and car at the Merdeka Millenium Endurance Race (MMER) 2010. They showcased a superb car performance, speed and reliability throughout the 12 hour endurance, marking their way into the record book as the winner with the most lap count with 315 laps registered.

When the 4 lights went green, the thundering sounds of roaring engines broke the usually silent midnight horizon at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC). The sights of men and machines blazing through the darkness – the epitome of endurance racing. Night racing is what separates the man from the boys. It was a battle of fitness and mental toughness, a story of joy and despair, an epiphany of perseverance and persistence. Your body wants to shut down, but your mind forces it to stay awake.

The inclusion of current FIA European GT3 champion Christopher Haase and Le Mans regular Peter Kox paid off handsomely for Arrows Racing as they secured the win in the 11th edition of the 12 Hour Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race (MMER) 2010 at the Sepang International Circuit. The duo teamed up with GT3 Asia champion Tunku Hammam Sulong and together they broke the total lap record with 315 laps in their formidable Lamborghini LP560.
