Dani Pedrosa never scored more than 2 wins in a season, but it all changed when he crossed the finish line first to take his 3rd win of the season. Pedrosa made a great start off the line from the 2nd row of the grid, getting ahead of championship rival Jorge Lorenzo into the first turn.

It was a last gasp effort from Ben Spies, as he secures his first ever MotoGP pole position in front of the home crowd at Indianapolis. His best time of 1’40.105, recorded on his 26th of 28 laps, came as a surprise as the earlier practice session was dominated by Casey Stoner, ahead of Repsol Honda pair Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo in 4th.

The Le Mans Series heads to Hungary for the very first time so the 1,000Km of Hungaroring is a leap in the dark for most of teams and drivers. The second qualifying session will go down in Le Mans Series history. For the very first time since seven years of existence, an LMP2 hits the jackpot before the LMP1s. An unpredictable feat which will introduces an interesting race today. Five LMP1 cars versus five LMP2 cars, The powerful LMP1s will be very keen to save their “King of Endurance” title. Although the P2s performances can without any doubt mess up the overall classification.

Sebastien Loeb extended his lead to 2nd place Dani Sordo after completing the 2nd day of the ADAC Rally Deutschland. Loeb now leads Sordo by 35.7 seconds.
