It has been exciting weekend for Malaysians in general getting to see the drivers, the cars and the action up-close. Fairuz Fauzy will feature in the Friday Practice Session at Sepang replacing Heikki Kovailainen. Interesting fact to know was how Tony Fernandes decides between Heikki or Trulli that gets the drive alongside Fairuz on Friday. It was easy, tossing of a coin. Simple, but yet fair solution. For your information, this will be the second time Fairuz at the wheel of Lotus T127.

Before you get charged up of assuming there is nothing wrong with the new rule, remember orange and apple are not the same fruit. Or wet and dry are not the same condition. Throw safety cars, rain and difficult circumstances into a race, needless to say, it will always end up with a great spectacle.

It was Sebastian Vettel 2-0 up against Mark Webber at his home turf and everyone else in Formula One. Now it’s time for Red Bull to repay him back with a reliable car after failing to provide it in Bahrain.

The McLarens of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button set the fastest times in FP2 at Albert Park. The fastest lap times were set the in first and last few minutes thanks to the drizzle. Hamilton although earlier saying that Red Bull and Ferrari have the upper hand this weekend, now believed that McLaren can finish 1-2 in Melbourne.
