Rally Japan went underway at the Sapporo Dome Super Special, with Sebastien Ogier fastest at the 1.57 km circuit. The Citroen driver went 0.5 faster than his closest challenger Dani Sordo in SS1, and concluded SS2 with another fastest time, this time 0.8 seconds ahead of Kimi Raikkonen.

The Le Mans Series heads to Hungary for the very first time so the 1,000Km of Hungaroring is a leap in the dark for most of teams and drivers. The second qualifying session will go down in Le Mans Series history. For the very first time since seven years of existence, an LMP2 hits the jackpot before the LMP1s. An unpredictable feat which will introduces an interesting race today. Five LMP1 cars versus five LMP2 cars, The powerful LMP1s will be very keen to save their “King of Endurance” title. Although the P2s performances can without any doubt mess up the overall classification.

Sebastien Loeb extended his lead to 2nd place Dani Sordo after completing the 2nd day of the ADAC Rally Deutschland. Loeb now leads Sordo by 35.7 seconds.

As expected, it was Citroen that dominates the proceeding during the 1st day of the ADAC Rally Deutschland. Sebastien Loeb won 4 of the 6 special stages as he made the intention of securing his eighth successive Rally Deutschland victory very clear.
