16 year old Nabil Jeffri is living his dream as he conducted a day of aero testing for Lotus Racing on the museum’s Cambridgeshire runway. It was an opportunity well deserved for Nabil as Malaysian Lotus F1 driver development program kicks into second gear. We can only hope with this small but significant mileage, it will take him into greater heights in the future. More motivated, hungrier than ever and more importantly well equipped. Could you foresee when arriving on the Hungarian track that one hour before the finish of the race, two LMP1 (N°4 Team Beechdean Mansell and N°8 Team Siganture Plus) would save the King category’s honour among the ten first classified while the LMP2s would take the lion’s share, trusting the five first places from half the race?

The Le Mans Series heads to Hungary for the very first time so the 1,000Km of Hungaroring is a leap in the dark for most of teams and drivers. The second qualifying session will go down in Le Mans Series history. For the very first time since seven years of existence, an LMP2 hits the jackpot before the LMP1s. An unpredictable feat which will introduces an interesting race today. Five LMP1 cars versus five LMP2 cars, The powerful LMP1s will be very keen to save their “King of Endurance” title. Although the P2s performances can without any doubt mess up the overall classification.

The 12 Hour Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race 2010 has concluded, it provided breathtaking dramas and brilliant storyline. Our team on the ground is overwhelmed and satisfied with what they have seen. Lotus Racing has today confirmed its commitment to embracing young talent with the announcement that Nabil Jeffri, the 16 year old Malaysian karting prodigy currently competing in Formula BMW Pacific with Eurasia Motorsport, will be driving for the fastest new F1 team at an aero test the team will be running in early September at an undisclosed location in the UK.
The Algarve circuit is fantastic because it is different from most new tracks. It has a good mixture of high speed and slow corners with a few blind turns and it winds up and down all the way. The track is interesting and very demanding.
