WRC – ADAC Rally Deutschland Day 3 : A New WRC Record as Sebastien Loeb Takes 8th Successive Victory

Sebastien Loeb sets another WRC record as he won his 8th successive Rally Deutschland, becoming the 1st driver to achieve such a feat.

Sebastien Loeb extended his lead to 2nd place Dani Sordo after completing the 2nd day of the ADAC Rally Deutschland. Loeb now leads Sordo by 35.7 seconds.

As expected, it was Citroen that dominates the proceeding during the 1st day of the ADAC Rally Deutschland. Sebastien Loeb won 4 of the 6 special stages as he made the intention of securing his eighth successive Rally Deutschland victory very clear.

The 12 Hour Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race 2010 has concluded, it provided breathtaking dramas and brilliant storyline. Our team on the ground is overwhelmed and satisfied with what they have seen. As they recoup the energy to report what they have seen, let’s sidetrack a bit and enjoy some of the photos at the recent Round 2 of the Malaysian Rally.


Jari-Matti Latvala secured his 2nd win of the season after an intense battle with Sebastien Ogier throughout the final stages.

Ford Jari-Matti Latvala (above) ended the day with a 9.1 seconds lead over Citroen’s private entry Petter Solberg, and will go out 1st during the start during tomorrow’s special stages. It was a dramatic day for Latvala’s teammate Mikko Hirvonen after he crashed when in the lead at SS4.

As I write this back home in my not so comfy chair, the sound of the engine bursting through the woods still roared in the back of my mind. It was an astonishing experience. Petrolhead by nature, I’ve been to several events in these past few years. Nevertheless, as many of my colleagues pointed out, one can be there and seen it all. Yet still, these machines will never fall short to keep you in the state of amazement.


After two days of rallying and 12 stages being contested, Karamjit Singh emerged as the champion of the Malaysian Rally Championship (MRC) Round 2 at Bandar Seri Jempol, Negeri Sembilan.
