16 year old Nabil Jeffri is living his dream as he conducted a day of aero testing for Lotus Racing on the museum’s Cambridgeshire runway. It was an opportunity well deserved for Nabil as Malaysian Lotus F1 driver development program kicks into second gear. We can only hope with this small but significant mileage, it will take him into greater heights in the future. More motivated, hungrier than ever and more importantly well equipped. Lotus Racing has today confirmed its commitment to embracing young talent with the announcement that Nabil Jeffri, the 16 year old Malaysian karting prodigy currently competing in Formula BMW Pacific with Eurasia Motorsport, will be driving for the fastest new F1 team at an aero test the team will be running in early September at an undisclosed location in the UK.

Fairuz will be back on the wheel today at Silverstone for a practice run. Fairuz is understandably excited about the challenge ahead, starting with the team’s second home race at Silverstone this weekend. He speaks in the video. Take the JUMP for the video.

Vettel Numero Uno in Valencia!
The most controversial decision by the FIA on safety car kept Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher out of good points position at the recent Valencia GP. It’s so much disappointment for the two as the new blown diffuser at least on the Ferrari was proven to be fast to take the challenge to McLaren.

A quick peek suggest that most of the teams are running some new parts here and there. Whether the pecking order will change because of this is the big question now and will only be answered comes qualifying later today.
